Tracking
You want your sound captured right the first time. There’s a wide variety of projects, visions, ideas, instrumentation, and budgets out there, and my goal is to accommodate you with your needs. With the ability to work out of several studios in Columbus, Ohio, including my own home studio, and remote recording, your songs will be captured professionally in a space that fits your creative needs.
Editing
My philosophy with editing is to make the performance sound like it was YOUR perfect take. Keeping the human element is what makes a great edit, and my skills can give that extra boost to take great performances into excellence. The amount of editing/polishing just depends on your song’s needs or wants.
Producing
Production, from concept to conception, brings that song its life. Taking songs to where they need to go (and adding a little extra flair) is my speciality. That can be as small as tiny saturations, delays, and reverbs or as massive as background vocals, string arrangements, walls of sound, auxiliary percussion, or completely re-stylizing a song. It’s creating what’s best for the song and seeing if those brave little ideas might work.
Mixing
Every little piece you have worked hard on and laid out onto tape (or a hard drive) comes down to the mixing stage. I take every element of that song, neatly fit and glue them together,
and make it sound like what it’s supposed to sound like…
great.
Mastering
Whether your project needs a clean or mean mastering chain, I can get your project to where it needs to go, and sounding professional.
